Bio - Maia Tomich

Maia grew up in Seattle, WA.  After high school, she moved to San Diego, CA for college, graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education. Shortly after graduating, Maia combined her passion for education with her love of coordinating and planning events and accepted a position as the director of events with the Beyster Institute at the University of San Diego Rady School of Management. While at UCSD, she coordinated and managed several annual meetings, events, and conferences focused on advancing the concept of employee ownership to support entrepreneurs in building strong and sustainable companies.

In the early 2000's, Maia moved to Colorado and enjoyed the opportunity to focus on her family for a few years while exploring all of the amazing things to do and see in the state. During this time, she volunteered extensively for several local charities to support fundraising, sponsorship, and volunteer engagement efforts.

In 2018, Maia joined the Choirs of America team as director of events to support the growth and development of the company's mission, vision, and passion. When not working to create amazing and engaging events for choirs, bands, and orchestras, Maia loves to travel and explore the world with her family and friends through outdoor adventures while hiking, biking, running, and paddle boarding.
