What the World Needs Now is...
We are inviting choirs from across North America to unite in New York City for an inspiring residency culminating in a landmark performance in world-famous Carnegie Hall. Under the artistic leadership of acclaimed conductor Dr. Jeffery Redding, participating ensembles will prepare a powerful program of carefully curated octavos presented under the theme “The Heart of Humanity: A Journey of Hope & Unity!”
This transformative experience will blend musical excellence, cultural exchange, and the thrill of performing on one of the world’s most prestigious stages... offering singers an unforgettable opportunity to collaborate with peer ensembles, grow artistically, and share a message of compassion, resilience, and connection through the universal language of choral music.
Program Overview
During the 3-day residency and concert performance for the presentation of
The Heart of Humanity's
set of themed music (featuring about 24 to 30 minutes of repertoire), select choirs will combine into a major massed choir for a wholly-collaborative, once-in-a-lifetime experience in the vibrant "Big Apple." Participating ensembles will be treated to a rich tapestry of musical, cultural, and socially rewarding experiences curated and led by Principal Conductor,
Dr. Jeffery Redding. Here's what awaits:
Day One (May 26, 2027)
- Pen2Podium Welcome: Prior to rehearsal, Dr. Redding will immerse your Singers into the world of composing with an exclusive welcome that includes details about the genesis and creation of this new blend of themed octavos.
- First Collaborative Rehearsal: Participating ensembles will then combine to create a supportive, collaborative massed choir to work with Dr. Redding for an exciting first rehearsal.
- Cultural Exchanges: Throughout each day, participating performers will have the opportunity to engage in heartwarming exchanges with others fostering an environment of mutual learning and appreciation.
- Discover New York City: Participating groups will also be able to immerse themselves in the cultural and culinary delights of "the city that never sleeps," weaving sightseeing, group meals, broadway shows, and musical inspiration into a seamless experience.
Day Two (May 27, 2027)
- Second Collaborative Rehearsal: The fun and excitement builds as participating ensembles again combine and meet with the Maestro for another comprehensive rehearsal.
- Discover More New York City: The rest of the day and evening will be free to continue exploring the sights and sounds of "The Big Apple."
Day Three (May 28, 2027)
- Dress Rehearsal: This morning, we'll get right to it with all participating ensembles gathering for a final dress rehearsal before tonight's concert premiere!
- Cue2Cue Logistics Rehearsal + Sound Check: Taking place in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium, our production team will work with the massed choir for a short set-up and movement logistics practice in Carnegie Hall, along with a quick sound check to prepare for tonight's concert.
- Grand Finale Performance in Carnegie Hall: The spotlight awaits as you and your Singers perform The Heart of Humanity: A Journey of Hope & Unity! in magnificent Carnegie Hall with Dr. Redding leading from the podium.

Tour inclusions like transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing, Broadway musicals, group meals, etc. are not included in the Program Rates listed above.
