Water is Life. Wellspring! is the Celebration it Deserves.
Wellspring! The Way of Water invites choirs from all over the world into a world where music flows with the same beauty, mystery, and spiritual energy as water itself. Inspired by the sacred springs and ancient well sites of Glastonbury, this immersive 40-minute community work for SATB Choir, Unison Children's Choir, and Jazz Quintet weaves together folk, gospel, jazz, and minimalist styles in a celebration of water’s power to heal, renew, and give life. Come sing Wellspring! with us in NYC and Carnegie Hall!
Program Overview
During the 3-day residency and concert performance for the North American and Carnegie Hall premiere of the new Masterwork,
Wellspring! The Way of Water, select SATB choirs and treble children's choirs will combine into a major massed choir for a wholly-collaborative, once-in-a-lifetime experience in the vibrant "Big Apple." Participating ensembles will be treated to a rich tapestry of musical, cultural, and socially rewarding experiences penned by British composers Alexander L'Estrange & Joanna Forbes L'Estrange. Here's what awaits:
